Wash, Dry & Fold for Work Crews and Uniforms: Hand Off the Week’s Dirtiest Job

Work clothes don’t get normal dirty. They get ground-in, grease-adjacent, Oklahoma-red-dirt dirty — and they get that way five days a week. For crews, shops, restaurants, and anyone in a uniform, doing that laundry at home means every evening starts with a load of someone else’s workday. There is a simpler system: hand it off.

How drop-off wash, dry & fold works

Bring the bag in — uniforms, work shirts, jeans, shop towels, the lot. We wash, dry, and fold it, ready to pick up. The Laundry Barn offers same-day and next-day wash, dry & fold service, with attendants on site, and dry cleaning available at the counter for the pieces that need it.

For a crew lead or an office manager, the math is compelling: one drop-off run replaces a week of nightly home loads for every employee who would otherwise be washing uniforms at midnight.

Tips from crews who do this well

  • Two sets rotating beats one set suffering. While one set is with us, the other is on the job — nobody is ever waiting on laundry to go to work.
  • Empty the pockets at drop-off. Bolts, box cutters, pens, and receipts appreciate being found by you rather than by the washer.
  • Flag the worst stains. Grease, paint, and adhesive come out better when we know what they are before the wash, not after.
  • Keep a steady rhythm. A standing drop-off day — say, every Monday and Thursday — turns uniform laundry into a route stop instead of a recurring emergency.

Prefer to run the machines yourself?

Our self-serve side is built for work loads too: four 60 lb and four 40 lb washers plus plenty of 30 lb and 20 lb machines, card or coins, open daily 8:30 AM–8:30 PM. Just note that the last drying load must be started by 8:30 PM — customers already inside may finish, but there’s no re-entry after 8:30 PM.

Either way, the dirtiest job of the week is ours now. The Laundry Barn, 1501 N Lynn Riggs Blvd, Claremore — call (918) 341-2690. Coffee, vending, and Wi-Fi on site.
